Introducing Plat Converter AI: turn your plats into digital inventory in minutes

AI that converts plats to digital inventory. Upload the plat you have, and every lot, block, and setback is ready in minutes.
Turning plats into digital assets for planners, sales, and marketing has always been a challenge. Someone opens a multipage PDF or a DWG, traces lot after lot, rebuilds every dimension by hand, and hands the file to sales days later. Meanwhile the map, the website, and the lot fits all wait.
Well, no more. In November 2026, we're launching Plat Converter AI, the newest app on Runway Hub.
What it does
Upload the plat (Plan of Subdivision) you already have and Plat Converter AI reads every page, then digitizes every lot, block, and setback in one pass. Lot shapes, numbers, bearings, distances, curves, and areas come through as GeoJSON shapes, along with the site data your teams actually need:
Setbacks and easements. Front, rear, side, and corner setbacks, read from the plat and applied as reusable setback profiles.
Every dimension, checked. Frontage, depth, bearings, and area on every lot, including corner and cul-de-sac lots.
An engineering layer. Existing and finished surface levels, fall, cut and fill, and retaining walls, ready for Lot Fit.
Bring the plat you have
Multipage PDF, scan, phone photo, or CAD (DWG or DXF). Drop in the whole set and AI finds the lots across every page. It handles US plats and Australian plans of subdivision alike, and units stay as printed: feet and quadrant bearings in the US, meters and whole circle bearings in Australia. Nothing is converted behind your back.
AI does the heavy lifting. Your team stays in control.
Speed matters, but accuracy is the point. Lots group into color-coded blocks so you can review a whole plat at a glance. Closure checks flag anything that needs a second look, with one-click fixes for things like an incorrect frontage dimension or mis-placed north arrow, and a hard lot can be redrawn in a couple of minutes. Nothing becomes live inventory until someone on your team saves it.
Runway trains its own AI models, hosted in the USA and Australia on AWS. Plat Converter AI took around six months and hundreds of plats to train, so it reads US and Australian plats the way a surveyor would.
Pricing and availability
Plat Converter AI launches on Runway Hub in November 2026, from US$400 a month with unlimited plats. Book a demo to see it in action.
